From September 13-22 2013, Dove flew over the airstrip of Vliegbasis Soesterberg during Festival De Basis.
Company New Heroes collected one thousand white pillowcases from inhabitants of Zeist, Soest, Soesterberg and its surroundings. One thousand pillows, with the names of their owners written on them, together form the artwork Dove, that was revealed on September 13th. This giant Dove of Peace is the ultimate symbol of fraternization and solidarity by instigators of peace: you and your neighbour.
Pascal Leboucq designed this Dove, inspired by an idea of Lucas De Man. Marco Pesch and Michael Bloos coordinated the project of collecting the pillowcases.
